The $30,000 Repugnican Birth Tax

Every baby born today is now $30,000 in debt thanks to the almost $9,000,000,000,000 in debt the fiscally irresponsible GOP have run up while running our great nation into the ground.

$8 billion gets lost in Iraq, and there's no investigation or oversight by Congress. Billions are stolen by war-profiteering corporations like Halliburton. Republicans are looting the treasury and making us financially insecure. China and other foreign nations have us by the economic shorthairs, while Bush and Company laugh all the way to the bank.

Where are the so-called "fiscally responsible" republicans? Why are they condemning new-borns to a life of indentured servitude?

The Eviscerated American Citizenry

Since the 911 attacks, many Americans have become "cheese-eating
surrender monkies" when it comes to giving up their Constitutional
guarantees. I'm tired of quoting Benjamin Franklin's "Those who
sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither".

Republicans have encouraged this docile behavior of Americans by
implying that those who object to being spied upon are un-American
and possible terrorist suspects. "If you don't have anything to hide, you
don't have anything to worry about" is their argument. Well, if
George Bush doesn't have anything to hide, why did he not get
warrants from the FISA courts?

"If somebody from al-Qaeda is calling you, we'd like to know why."
Well, if you know that al-Qaeda is calling, why don't you track the
caller down, capture him, and prosecute him? If the government
knows it's al-Qaeda that's calling, then they know where to get him.
Although, given the fact that our gov't can't find Osama after 5
years, I guess I shouldn't hope for too much.

What if an al-Qaeda member dialed the wrong number? Would the
DHS, CIA or the NSA carry out a terrorist attack on the person who
answered the phone?

What if al-Qaeda members purposely started calling
Americans or politicians? Would the NSA or CIA render them to some
secret torture cell in Eastern Europe? Make nude pyramids of them
and take pictures? Fly them to a country that boil people as a
form of torture?

Our government is not "connecting dots", they're collecting dots.

The Bush administration needs to stop monitoring google searches, web
logs, emails, and telephone calls!

Americans need to get off their knees and stand against the
government's unconstitutional violations of our 4th amendment rights
and intimidation of our 1st amendment rights!

Let's get serious about security. Capture Osama bin Laden, protect
our ports and police our chemical and nuclear plants!
